Sorry if this is a noob question but I’m building my first budget pc. For my gpu I’ve selected either the:
-EVGA gtx1060 6gb
-EVGA gtx1060 SCC 3gb
The price difference I’ve found isn’t that much different only being $20-$30. Which one would you recommend?

6GB 100%. Having used similar 6gb and 3gb models, the 6gb ourperforms the 3GB in newer titles such as Playerunknown. In older games there won't be much of a difference. But the higher the resolution the more vram you will need, so if you plan on playing above 1080p the 6GB is a must. Honestly, if you can afford the 6GB 1060 or even the cheapest 1070 on the market, go for it. Because the 3GB is good, but it's not quite there.

6gb, the 3gb will bottleneck too much

That extra VRAM will go a very long way.

6Gb is a great card to focus on. definitely for a $20 price difference. but 3Gb can get the job done fine if you need it to. I personally run a 1050Ti and I love it.
