sorry for noob question
you download a 20gb game and you play for 3 days but when you check its properties again it is 31gb...where do the other GBs come from?

it happened with Assassins Creed Syndicade...also I didnt have internet connection in the last 3 days so I'm sure its not updates...if it keeps growing it wil it my little hard drive space left ;(

The game install files are generally compressed for a smaller download. When the game is installed some of those files get uncompressed and then you end up with a larger game folder size.

Think of it like a Winzip archive, that's a single file that contains many more folders and files, the archive file is generally smaller than its total contents.

Also things like updates, saves, configs (although saves and configs are generally saved to your documents folder) and DLC for games add to the total folder size over time
