Please don't be rude. I'm new to competitive and i wanna know how the ranking works in Overwatch and if you buy a gold gun skin for a character does it go to all there skins? Gears 4 is different then overwatch.

I’d wait to do comp until you’re like lvl 50 and have a handle on more than one character. And as far as gold weapons go, yes if you buy the weapon for a character it applies it to all their skins.

There will be 10 placement matches to do before you get your rank, there is alot of factors determining your rank.

Try to pick up a few hero’s in each group so you can fill as needed to help your team comp. otherwise stay positive make friends and build you a good team so you don’t have to solo q.
