Not trying to start shit, I just can't stand nvidia anymore. I used to not care what I got. My first rig was a pentium 3 and nforce, but since the gtx 5xx they've lost me. I will probably never use nvidia in a personal rig again. I'm ok with intel, I prefer amd cpus, but whatever works best at the time i go with.

Delid 7700k @5.0 with some 1080Ti stuff.

Was going to try a Ryzen but got a good deal on the cpu and board. It runs cool as a cucumber on my Kraken.
