Because mercy 1.0 was fine until they made her invincible during rez then changed to valk. Blizzard fucked up long story short

If you can't play mercy after then changes you were playing her wrong to begin with.

People complained when Resurrect was an ultimate ability, so they made it a basic ability instead. Seems legit.
Now, she’s getting her ultimate’s only unique feature removed instead of focused on.
At this rate, I wish they’d make her ult a single-ally rez with no cast time.
Maybe give her valkrie as a basic, hehe. Let her fly for 2 to 5 seconds every 30 or so. Seems legit.
Or increase the cooldown on the basic ability rez to 45 seconds with the cast time. Then people would stop complaining about it, and mercy would keep what’s unique about her.
