Japanese developer M2 has revealed that a brand new game in the Aleste series is on the way. The game is set to launch in Japan next year.
Originally launching for the Master System back in 1988, Aleste is a vertically-scrolling arcade shoot 'em up which saw a number of releases in the late '80s to early '90s. The new title is being developed as a celebration of the series' 30th anniversary and will mark the first new release in the franchise since 1993's GG Aleste II: Lance Bird.
