Can you upscale your Xbox games?

Basically: if you stream something like Xbox 360 version Red dead redemption or GTA IV can you upscale the resolution at all? Or playing in its old, sub-720p resolution just at 60fps?

It doesnt upscale it just plays them in the same crappy res. You're streaming it

No. It plays them at whatever resolution your xbox is at. It just streams your xbox's video feed, like a remote connection.

NOOOOWWW, .. microsoft is doing play anywhere if you buy digital copies of select games.. that right there upscales

That's not upscaling. That's a pc and the Xbox version of the game. Same game for 2 different spectrums.

Thanks. That's what I thought. Sold, my dust covered X-one to help fund my PC build, haven't played it in nearly a year but now have a huge hankering to play Red dead....
