I wused to be HUGE on antivirus ever since I was a kid on PC in the windows 98 days. I was religiously using Norton up until 2012 I started using Bit defender, now since Windows 10 has released I only use Windows defender. Just use common sense and stay away from pronz sites that don't have .com .org

I've never had to do that in 20 years. You're just a fucking amateur who doesn't know how to use Task Manager or Google correctly.

I personally haven't used antivirus for over two years and have only gotten a couple of viruses, and noticed them right away and removed them manually.

Norton pro, 7 years with no viruses. Running without anti virus is a great way to kill your computer

Seriously if you only download from trusted sources, check the checksums, and update any software you have running on your network, you're not going to get hacked.

I.E - Don't be an idiot. This includes not paying for antivirus software.
