The last time game stats (play time hours, etc.) got reset, was it reset based on the first day you got the Switch or on the anniversary of its first release (as I'm led to believe)?

Is this also still a problem, or have they already fixed this?

I think it was because they didn't record the year as part of the date. So when the original date came around again, it did the 10 day count, then reverted to the number of play hours. No data was lost, just the way it was displayed.
