Nintendo Has "No Plans" To Release A New Switch Model This Year

Despite ongoing rumours about a 'Pro' model Switch arriving at some point this year, Nintendo hasn't said a thing about it, or whether or not it even exists. During its latest financial results briefing today, the company president Shuntaro Furukawa said there were "no plans" to launch a new Switch model in 2020.

Regarding Nintendo Switch, we believe that it is important to continue to communicate the appeal of both Nintendo Switch systems and expand the installed base. Please note that we have no plans to launch a new Nintendo Switch model during 2020.
