I was considering upgrading my CPU to one of the newer ones that have come out like the 8700k and it would be a big jump up for me but I was advised against it by a friend due to "nothing being compatible with it yet" and it not working correctly. Is this correct? Should I get a 7700k one instead?
My GPU is a GTX 1060 6gb
My current CPU is terrible lmao can't even remember
Ram is DDR3 16gb and
HDD is 1tb and SSD is 128gb
