I hear people upset over the localization of Yo-kai. There are things us fans must understand. 1. Hasbro only really care about children. They know what a child can and can't pronounce. 2. American censorship exists. If it was not targeted to children, most of the names would have stayed the same. Remember Pokémon had to go through this mess as well.
For the sake of the success of this franchise, we have to get past a problem as small as bad naming and find ways to enjoy the franchise as a whole. We might want the names the same but the 3DS family is region locked which also give people no choice but to buy the English releases unless you buy a system from another country.
Let's let this franchise flourish as long as possible. We have to support it no matter what if we want more games and more merchandise. Thank you.
