During an interview with the Japanese magazine Famitsu, the siblings Chad and Jared Moldenhauer who founded StudioMDHR were asked about a potential sequel to the 2D run 'n gun platformer. Chad said they were still thinking about what to do and whatever the next game ends up being about, it will incorporate "2D hand-drawn" animation, as that's StudioMDHR style.
