Now a year later, at today's 2019 today's 2019 Pokémon press conference, it's been revealed the Chinese version of Pokémon Quest, handled by NetEase, will be an enhanced release. The game will include social features and player verse player. It was also revealed NetEase was working with The Pokémon Company to bring more Pokémon games to China in the future. Since Pokémon Quest was revealed for China, more than 1.7 million players have pre-registered to play the game.
