An air compressor generally creates condensation. The reason dusters for electronics, like a PC are compressed air or electric is so that you aren't getting your components wet. Using an air compressor will destroy electronics over time, maybe right away if the compressor has been used.

You would have to have some sort of condensation trap that is full proof with a backup

Not necessarily. And if it is, you should be able to dial down the air pressure.

It's not the power, you can just stand further away or use a different nozzle. It's the water inside the air compressor's tank.
