RETRO PC GAMER POINTS

Trying to keep it simple, straight-forward, and honest. We're not looking to use sleazy marketing tactics and do things like give people 100,000 points each contest but then make a basic $5 prize cost 50,000,000,000 points & make the points prices for prizes really small font so they don't notice but make the contest reward POINTS really large so they feel like as if they won a ton of points.

There will be a wide variety of ways to earn points, from low amounts of quick little guessing contests like this to awards from winning small gaming tournaments when we get servers up and going.

We are hoping to build up some different prizes from things like RPCG merchandise items(mouse pads, t-shirts, etc.) to cool retro PC games, & retro PC hardware.

Points will be added to our database. When we get the software running we will also create Keys for the points that we keep a matching copy/database of & give out to the winners.
That way they actually have something to track & keep/show for their balance of points won.

I'm just sick of all these Giveaways where people are basically just begging for new traffic/followers/members. It doesn't award the people who have already helped by following for xxx amount of time etc. Also, people often just have a hugely random change like a lottery of winning anything.

At least this way people have a much better change of not just winning but earning the points & feel victorious about it.
