Announcing Retro PC Gamers first server for Quake III Arena! (1999) It supports up to 16 players. Quake III Arena will need to be patched to version 1.32 to be able to join. Anyone up for some retro deathmatch later today ? A couple of us are going to be playing at 8pm (PST)

You should use ioquake3 to run a server unless you want to see it get hacked and have less uptime.. Original 1.32 binary is not very stable for long periods of time due to a memory bug. Plus it doesn't have any of the security patches that are known today.
