Switch Quick question for those who might know... I bought a a Nintendo/PowerA charging dock...

Quick question for those who might know...

I bought a a Nintendo/PowerA charging dock for my joycons. (The one that charges 2 sets of joycons...) and it is only powered by USB, since they assumed you'd plug it into the Switch Dock. It's a bit inconvenient for me to do so, so I was wondering...it SHOULD be able to handle being plugged into an AC Adapter with a USB port in it, right? Like a smartphone uses? I just don't want to fry it or anything.

Yes you can plug it into a plug like a phone, alternatively the Nyko ones I feel are a little better, the PowerA one i purchachsed and it works but nothing locks into place and the light dont really indicate much clearly, I wasnt a massive fan

Should work fine USB-A is pretty much standard all around even if you were to plug it into a high powered wall wart. It's USB-C where they decided to implement all sorts of different standards.
