People who say that smartphones will replace desktop computers bother the living crap out of me.
I'm gonna do a challenge. I will only use my phone to make calls and send messages, I won't use it to connect to the internet. I will only use my 2 desktop computers and my smart TV (I only use my smart TV to watch Youtube, still more useful than a smartphone)to go online. I already started it and I hope I will be able to keep going until at last the end of the summer.
Oh and I will use my phone to take pics because I don't have a real camera yet but instead of going online and uploading them from it, I will hook it up to one of my computers and upload the pics from the PC, just like a camera.
I bet that 99.9% of the people who will read my post won't do it and 90% of these who will do it will fail.

The thing is i bought one of the most expensive phones because i actually use it for multiple things and i like it. I like my smartphones because they pack so many things into one But they are never gonna close to any pc.

I could see it happening, just takes some leaps in technology, i'd say my phone now is way more capable than my first desktop ever was other than physical screen size everything about my phone blows my first pc out of the water, once phones get to the point that they can do what a modern pc user wants there's literally no reason to have such a huge non portable laying around.
