A Sombra nerf is coming already. Sounds like the Mercy nerfs all over again. Maybe if Blizzard actually played their own game, understood the frustration, therefore, would know that certain buffs would be exploitable like crazy, then these nerfs due to them not thinking their buffs all the way through, wouldn't be needed.

Anyway, the nerf will give the hack a 2 second cooldown, after its interrupted. Why wasn't that there to be begin with? So, when the nerf comes out, the hack will no longer be spammed to death, people will no longer just hold L2, because Sombra players would actually have to be careful & know when to use the hack, or else, they're dead on the spot.

Quick question though, If this nerf is already in the works, then where's the Junkrat nerf, or Doomfist nerf, or every other desperately needed nerf?

Doomfist is fine, just needs some bug fixes. Sombra was ridiculous and her hack never needed speeding up. However the other changes I was fine with for sombra. The problem blizzard have is even though there's a test server it's not going to give a very accurate idea of how players think the balance changes feel since not everyone plays on ptr. Live servers are the best place for most balance changes and it's all trial and error.

Blizzard do play their own game, there is however a difference between having a fairly small team of employees testing a hero vs however many thousand a day playing the game plus the pros testing the heroes.

Also, the community complained about how slow the Mercy nerfs were, now the community are complaining about how quickly the Sombra nerf has come; literally Blizzard can’t win.
