Hey guys, i'm thinking about building my own pc(already have one but its a bad laptop for gaming). the proble is that i don't know shit about pc building. if any of ya'll would be willing to help me chose pieces and componants i'd be really thankful!
my budget is around 1300 cad maybe i can extend to 1500. pm me if you have help to give

Agree with Colby James Schafer. 1300 will get you a fucking sweet setup. That site will help make sure you get all compatible parts at the right prices.
Id say 16 gb ddr4 ram
Maybe a gtx 1060
And a mid range i7. You should have enough to finish with the motherboard, copy of windows, case+cooling and accessories(kb/m, and monitor) if you dont already have them
