If you had that kind of money to spend you'd be researching not asking random people...

Yea I could literally buy my truck 8 times with that. Stop throwing away your money on a thing that will grow obsolete in a couple years

You prefer Intel or AMD? Since you mentioned using it for work... The monster threadripper ryzen builds are pretty good

I priced up a thread ripper system and got to £5k and thats with monitor, mouse and keyboard so $8K is not a silly question to consider

separate the machines so you dont have threads jumping all over and killing game/streaming performance. Grab an audio interface so you can listen to both machines at once, or just the one machine (this is handy if you're streaming as you can play music and sounds through the streaming PC, while being able to focus on gaming sounds on the gaming PC). Many of the top streamers do this; dedicated gaming PC, dedicated streaming PC for top notch quality, and top performance for gaming. If you want usage to be seamless between the two, LTT's sponsor 'Synergy' (not sure how its actually spelled) will let you use both PC's as if they were a single unit.

I have a half-built Ryzen 5 PC here I plan on using for that purpose. She just needs some RAM and I can toss her together.

People who have that type of money don't go asking for help. They hire someone to do it for them.
