The thing is upcoming games don't even look as good or run as good as games from 2013, so I don't know what the hell the games devs are doing.

No, 1440p Ultra at 60FPS vsync would be simple in some games, and hard in something like FC5
and by Upcoming Games i mean
Far Cry 6
AC Origins
God of War (New)
Red Dead Redemption 2

The only way might be if you overclock your GPU, but i think it'll help alot though
