Which GPU to improve my PC? It’s not been touched for 6 years but still gets AAA titles to 60 FPS.

PUBG seems to fluctuate between 42-60 FPS depending on the environment

CPU: AMD FX6300 @ 3.5
GPU: AND R9 270
8GB of Kingston ram

1060 can do it
+ if you want something little bit better and for the future 1070 should do the work + I recommend increasing your RAMS to 16GB. It will increase your FPS
You can get 1060+ 8GB RAM will help a lot

Up the clock speed on your cpu to 4.5 ghz if possible. Basic CM T4 should do it

The fx 6300 wil bottleneck the hell out of a 1070 or 1060

To get 60 fps , no gpu can help you getting these frames even a 1080 Ti if u put in this specs

I would suggest actually just starting to get a new cpu, the fx series is getting really outdated and going to hold you back in game s

My buddie got a fx 6300 at 4 ghz with a 1080 and he plays at mid to high and get 60+ frames

Sorry 4.2 i think regardless 4 ghz - 4.2 ghz with a 1070 or 1080 ul be ok

But like most will tell you. Cpu needs a update. But u can still play games but for mabye a year to 2 max before that thing is done

I gave my son my old fx 6300 rig last year . . . I have since upgraded him to Ryzen 3. Trust me do not go higher than a 1050 ti. Any more is a major waste of money.

Its not a waste if he changes his cpu after and mb and ram. If he doesnt then 1050 ti and go for ryzen
