Ok let's research this as I type the comment.. GTX 960 is 90% more powerful then a 960M - for context. (Results from Userbenchmark - Users results added up) 960M is 12% more powerful then a GT 1030. However an RX550 is 1% better then a 960m. I would personally say a laptop with the Ryzen chip would be a better investment if you're looking at 2 options. If you're looking to upgrade its pointless.
