It's big jump in performance if your just starting out. the GTX 1050ti is worth the few exta bucks or the 1050. I don't think I will sell mine I am saving for something better. I am going to keep the 1050ti as a back card for break down a little safety net so I am never with one lol.

Better processor would help a lot keep an eye open on cragslist you can great deals on old office desktops with i5 or i7's in them dirt cheep just sure they works before you buy. Ebay you can pick cpu cheep as well.

The whole thing is old...ddr3 ram the cpu ...there is no point buying an expensive gpu if its gonna be bottlenecked by the cpu and ram...
