From what I remember, yes the fallen has always been there(except for the last NF) and the timer I guess depends on the Nightfall modifier

I guess a good tip would be try to skip as much fighting as possible

Treat it like a prestiege nightfall and you will pass

Is the class still changing? Get one weapon of each, solar arc void and change whith it as it does ridiculous amount of damage when it's active, also if you are a full fireteam make each one have a different super and power weapon. We almost made it with just 2 guys, and 3 we did it with 6 min to spear
