So my friend who finished last season at 2477 did his placements and he is 2910, that's an increase of 433 points, incredible. Never heard of higher before, anyone got placed much higher than their previous season?

Happened to me this season and the season before, got placed 2955 this season after finishing at 2840 last season. Last season I placed 2700 ish after finishing at 2550 before that

Most of the time you won't get nearly that drastic of a difference. I've finished most seasons between 3500-3700 and end up either around there or a bit lower after placements
