Question: What would be better if there's actually a difference. 4x4 2800 ddr4 RAM or 2x8 2800 ddr4 RAM? I just really want 4 sticks in my computer.

Two 8's but if you have Intel and that 1080, it doesn't make much of a difference. Shoot for higher mhz maybe.

The difference is negligible. The only difference that occurs is the added stress to the memory controller, but it's not something you'll see in real life or will ever likely have an issue with
