Question about Splatoon 2! If i have a japanese copy of the game, can i play online with my friends in Europe, etc? It was possible in Splatoon 1.
Help appreciated!
Didnt do much research ^^'. Bought the game in japan, its in japanese (not a problem) but worried about local/online play compatibility with other regions

Not too sure I know when I played the beta here in Japan I was queued up with Japanese alot

Yeah it's fine, I moved to Japan so all my friends are in Europe and playing online has never been an issue

You should be fine but I'm not sure about splatfest

The Splatfest is region lock. You won't be able to play a Splatfest with your friends in other region.

You can, only the event times different in 2 sides, Asia and western region of the earth.
