Protip: Don't fucking be lazy and assume Xur will give you an exotic for one of your other characters if you've got nothing else to get on the one you're logged in as. Just paid 97 shards for my 20th hallowfire.

They won’t give you another character types items because you can get a significantly more powerful engram for another class to power level.

Just like how in D1 you could infuse hunter gear into warlock and Titan and vice versa to boost them.

You’d level everyone even faster that way, but there’d be less gameplay in the long run.
