Okay so farming for old fashioned. I know it comes from legebdary engrams and gunsmith but is there a specific planet i can farm as well since some guns are also planet specific?

It's just RNG, there's no way around it lol

I dont even see it in inspected engrams anymore

It doesn't show, just keep farming, you'll eventually get it... one day

Wondering if buying engrams instead of boons would give me a better drop chance at it since those legendaries dont give new guns

The method of farming is totally up to you, every legendary engram has a chance of droping it, idk about using the boons lol
