Shadow and Bone is the latest epic fantasy series coming to Netflix. Based on Leigh Bardugo's Grishaverse series, Shadow and Bone follows the battle between literal light and dark as a lowly soldier and orphan, Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li), discovers she has a power that few believe is actually real, and finds herself caught in a conflict over the fate of her home country -- and world -- centuries in the making. From showrunner Eric Heisserer, Shadow and Bone also stars Ben Barnes, Archie Renaux, Amita Suman, Kit Young and Freddy Carter, and hits Netflix globally on April 23, 2021. The trailer for Netflix's Shadow and Bone first debuted during IGN Fan Fest on February 26.
