Why do you need split screen? Just play online or with friends that have a switch and Splatoon 2

Even though the original Splatoon had a weak local multiplayer, it could have been so much better with some tweaks in Splatoon 2

Its a fun game, however I wish it had a practice mode where you fight against bots in the arenas when you are not online

A game like Splatoon just doesn't work with Split screen. You'd always know exactly where your opponent is and it would just be very broken for that reason alone.

The single player campaign could have had some split screen coop mode
