I've always wanted a HTPC and wanted to hear from HTPC owners viewpoint/see if they are worth it. Would like to have real comments from owners, not randomness if possible.

If you throw out your cable box then yeah you can save alot of money with just subscriptions to netflix hulu prime tv and a couple others. I really enjoy HTPCs for this reason.
