Is coffee lake Worth it from Skylake

In performance, yes, but there's gonna be better stuff coming in what, another year? Personally I'm just gonna sit on my 6600k and wait out this generation. The chips look great, but I'm not gonna cash in just yet.

No. No increase in IPC, just higher wattage and temps. Coffee Lake is basically an overclocked Kaby Lake.

Fuck no lol.. most reviewers I know said it wasn't even worth to upgrade unless your rocking a 2600k or less. And even then a well overclocked 2600k will barely bottleneck a 1080
