I got a 1070 laptop with a 120hz screen and didnt like it. It was very stuttery because the temps. If you dont mind liquid metal that would help. I did get my 1080 laptop with 120hz screen in yesterday. I haven't played any games yet but I will this afternoon. I will let you know how it goes.

All for $1850-1900 on newegg, i bought it last month, its great. Also the cooling is supurb, a bit loud, but can easily cool them and stay under 70c

A 1080 itself is worth it if thats the performance you want, but laptop is a different story, just make sure whatever ones you look at have good cooling and all thw normal stuff you look for in a desktop
