Is a GTX 1060 3GB and 8 of ram enough for 1080 and VR gaming?

Don't listen to these people most likely none of them tried it lol.... I have the gtx 1060 3gb my oculus works perfectly I have pretty much every game worth owning. There's no lag no studders no frame drops it's a great experience

half these fucks haven't even tried vr before,
think before you speak 2d peasants.
I had a 960 and that ran the witcher in VR on a high medium preset just fine.

I'm running a 390 8gb it's 1200p per each eye and running at 90fps Oculus rift is a low spec I do know something about it

I have GTX 1060 8gb and i5 6500k works my VR no problem at all.

If you have the money go for the 6gb version and go for 16gb

its near the lower end of the spec ? personally I would go for mid range at least, otherwise you might get sick?

My setup is a 390 8gb with a i7-3930k I never experienced motion sickness

390 with 8gb is not the same as a 1060 with 3gb
