I3 8100 hands down, killer gaming CPU for the cost. Plus that will get you into the z370 mobo, can always upgrade down the road to a better CPU.

You do realise that i3-8100 can match an 7th gen i5.. Even with the mobo price that's hard not to suggest. If wanna go cheap better wait for those budget 8th gen mobos. Stick with the i3-8100 either way :v

i believe i3 8100 is quad core and 7100 is dual if im not mistaken? then i3 8100 is the only option
