It's stone m8 always gonna happen, but there's plenty of good discreet spots to place small multiple bases. Keep your gear all over.

Like John said you have to build discreet, I suggest building in an underwater cave, as you tame stuff feed them lazarus chowder to swim them down to the cave. If you lock down an underwater cave with turrets on players only then you cant be raided unless the turrets have no bullets.

Scot stegos protect you from survivor only turrets and stegos spines only take half damage from turrets. A glitch I suppose they'll fix it at some point, but stegos are better than turtles by at least 20%
