you could do it for 1080p. that puts more on the cpu anyways. future proofing id try to go 1060 since its still best value modern card. i was gaming just a year ago on a 2gb hd 6950

Its depends on your choice or budget ... Most 1080p cards are :- 1050, 1060,1070,1080.

1060s are sold out everywhere in my region. the 780 is at a good price. im seeing that it has a 17 percent performance drop from the 1060? thats not so bad is it?

the 780 is still a solid card thats capable of running half of the games out there atm

as you can see if paired with a decent processor you can get 50-60 fps on ultra

Got a GTX780TI founder's edition for 175US dollars second hand,still as powerful as GTX1060
Enough to power game on 1080p without any problem
