Hi. Thinking about upgrading my cpu. I have a i5 6400 2.7ghz. I play latest games, edit videos, live stream games and VR. If i go for a 8th gen i7 8700k. Will i see a difference?

Video editing, yes. To save money personally I'd get a 6700k due to clock speed upgrade will make a diff in games

For 1080p 60fps you're going to want an R7 1700 or 8700k. 8700k will have a bit better 1080p performance, but the R7 1700 will have better frame time during streaming.

The 7700k is technically not enough for streaming 1080p.
