Hey guys!! I'm planning for a small minecraft server. How many players do you think could it handle, and their estimated latency?

Specs:
i5 6600k @4.6ghz
16gb ddr4 2133 (soon to be 32gb)
5Mbps... (uploads are faster than dowloads)
980ti FE...

You need more dedotated amount of wam for a server

I run my minecraft server with 4gb of ram and an core to quad q6600 3.5 ghz smoothly...

2G for Vanilla, 4G for light mods, 8G for lots of mods.

I ran a minecraft server for 5 people on a pentium 2 @ 450mhz with 128mb of ram

A server with 16gb Of Ram in my past could handle 70-100 players MAX. Also that CPU is fairly good. I don't know if MC servers take advantage of all the threads though
