Helping my mate build his pc, can't get anything coming through on the monitor. Everything turns on and lights up but i'm guessing we've plugged something in the wrong spot or missed a cable. any advice from you lovely people?

Re-seat the graphics card and make sure you've connected sufficient power to it.

Connect to the mobo and not the graphics card, install drivers then switch to the graphics card?

Make sure the monitor is on the right input. Sometimes it’s those little things we don’t think of

Do you have the cable plugged into the motherboard OR the video card. I almost lost my mind until I realized I had it plugged into onboard (which was disabled in BIOS. lol)
