Generally. Turning off vsync will help. Closing other processes (brower, discord) will give a noticeable improvement

lower your settings, lower you resolution, set power management to high, close all programs running in the background, if your fps jumps around a lot you can max out voltage, temp and power target on a gpu oc to make it steady, upgrade your hardware and there's a lot more that you can do.

Assuming you're on a crud laptop: lower settings to low as possible, turn off graphics stiff like vsync and ambient occlusion, play games that dont require a lot, have 8gb of ram (if you dont have enough ram, the fps drops HARD and may even cause crashing
