Guys which HDD drive do you recommend for a gaming setup "and of course a bit of editing as well". I'm currently aiming for the WD blue 3TB version along with a 250 GB samsung 860 EVO SSD. The HDD is 5400 rpm but i hear a 7200 rpm HDD would give a 33% performance advantage over the former. Taking into consideration the speed, noise, and pricetag, which HDD is best overall?

Can't reccomend a specific drive. But, you should get the 7200rpm for sure.

ONLY get WD blue in 1tb or smaller because the larger sizes are only 5400rpm. 1tb get blue and bigger get WD Black

WD black it is then! I was considering a Barracuda as it's almost half the price but reviews don't seem very consoling lol
