if you wait for a card then you risk the card being defective, not performing, or being ultra expensive. just get the card thats available and has proper benches and tests by numerous people.

Your best bet is getting it for MSRP off NVIDIAS website itself. They stock randomly throughout the day, but they go fast.

I'd also maybe suggest waiting for 2000 series if you can.

I have one and its a great version of the 1080 ti. If oyu can get it for a reasonable price, its worht it.
