error code 43 with message 'one of the USB device attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it' .....well this had me stumped for a bit uninstalled the device let it be detected ...nope...new machine...and short of disassembling all the internal components I really had no idea what USB hub was the issue. turns out they have internal capacitors and unless you fully turn off the machine...and unplug it and wait a period of time....they never really reset the drivers wither you install or uninstall them...so....turn it off...unplug ...and wow the lights on the MB stayed lit up for about 5 mins....this am plugged it back in and turned it back on...and (fingers crossed) problem solved?
