Does anyone have any ideas why when on my computer i run a internet speed test it says 34mbs but steam or any other programs will always downliad at 4.5 mbs. This is the same for my ps4

your actual speed is about 1/4 of the "download" speed

Ok great so y they not just give me the results of my actuall speed then

With my pc when plugged in with ethernet, the speed is actually quicker than advertised and this is on steam, although when wireless I get around 3 times less. Try using ethernet connection

Yea u use ethernet all the time. But still stops at almost the same mbs its like there is a cap on my internet
