Can anyone help trouble shoot, I reseated the cpu fan header and it posts when a chassis fan is plugged in, but I can't get into the bios

check if you put the CPU Heat Sink properly
A PC wont start if it reaches a certain temp like 120 degrees celsius
or you losened a PC Component
check everything

I had the same issue with my crosshair vi, is your pump plugged into the aio header ? Is it getting hot?

Asus told me there is a failsafe in place that if you don't have a fan plugged into the cpu fan header while using the aio header you will get this code. It's a easy fix if your pump is working, go into fan controls and select ignore on cpu fan instead of monitor

F1 will get you into bios from that menu

F1 won't take me to bios, ans the aio is plugged into the cpu fan headee

Try a different keyboard. Sometimes the keyboard won't recognize til drivers are installed

It's prompting you to press f1 and if you press f1 and it doesn't take you to bios then I'm thinking the keyboard isn't working at the moment

Yeah ill try it tonight, I got it to post by taking out a stick of ram and re seating the,other in a different slot, but now I fet an amber light and no post

There are both headers but it won't boot with nothing connected to the cpu fan headee

What you do is use the aio header but.plug a fan into the cpu fan header.

This way your pump.is running but it will recognize that the cpu fan header has a fan attached for now.

U sure thats how I orignally installed it but that was wrong

I can help ya fix this. I just went through this with my asus crosshair vi. I had to cal asus support and they explained it to me.
